Hey, I’m David.

I started DisCo because I was tired of seeing kick-ass brands—with awesome value props and great prices—spend countless hours and thousands of dollars pitching to sales teams, only to walk away without selling a single box. And if they did get lucky enough to build some momentum, getting a distributor to share sales data was like pulling teeth.

Then there are the national distributors. We all know who they are. I’ve heard too many heartbreaking stories—brands thinking they’re growing, only to get slammed with a $10,000 or even $100,000 bill that wipes them out. Why put up with that?

I wanted to build something better. Something simpler. At DisCo, we keep things straightforward—helping brands grow without jumping through hoops (or paying endless fees) and making sure buyers always have quality products they can count on.

The supply chain should work for everyone, and that’s what we’re here to do.

Everybody eats.

My Story

The details of my life are quite inconsequential. Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets.
